Angstrom Scientific Inc. was
formed in July 2004, as a manufacturer’s representative to bring to
the market products and services focused on measurement and control
of critical processes at the nanoscale level.
Its principals, Evan Slow and Bob Sommerville bring over 40 years of
knowledge and experience in the field of scientific and
semiconductor equipment analysis and sales.
Prior to forming Angstrom Scientific, Evan was the National
Account Manager for CrossBeam systems at LEO (now Zeiss SMT). Prior
to that he was with FEI as a strategic account manager in the
Northeast. Evan started his career with EDAX where he held various
roles, including applications, sales, and marketing positions.
Evan’s education includes a BS (SUNY) and an MS (Bowling Green).
Bob who has a B.Sc. (Glasgow) and an MBA (Schullich School of
Management, York University) brings extensive experience in sales
and marketing, as VP & General Manager with Philips Analytical, and
then Director of Sales and GM with LEO Electron Microscopy Inc. (Zeiss
SMT)
Angstrom primarily focuses on a geographic basis on East
Coast up to and including, Eastern Canada, although has supported
companies in finding solutions to their analytical needs throughout
North America and as such partners with a network of individuals and
companies to support our customers requirements. We provide
pre-owned microscopes and FIB systems as well as service support as
required.
Consulting services such as market reports and sales and marketing
planning support can also be provided.
